How did I Passed the AI-900: AI Fundamentals Exam

Hello Everyone, Hope you are well..!!

Are you preparing for the AI Fundamentals AI-900 exam? Many questions would be hovering into your mind like what will be the difficulty level of the exam? On which Microsoft Azure AI topics should I spend more time? and so on.

Don’t worry! I also had these questions in my mind while preparing for my Microsoft Azure AI Certified Fundamentals exam certification. I got over these questions and finally passed the certification exam. Yes, I’m a Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals Certified now!

I was working on JAVA FullStack technology for almost 2.5 year and while working I realized Cloud Computing and AI is a booming technology so first I started with Azure Fundamentals AZ-900 Certification, after taking knowledge in Cloud, I started learning AI and ML.

Microsoft Azure AI Certified Fundamentals Exam

I believe it’s a good start to enter the Azure World. Passing the certification would give you some confidence to Azure services and its technology. As the name suggests AI-900 Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals is one of the basic exams that covers some general knowledge about Microsoft Azure AI.

Why should you take this exam

You should definitely take this examination If you’re a beginner to AI. If you wish to learn what specifically AI is and what kind of services Microsoft Azure offers, this is often the exam for you. You will learn and be familiar with all types of workloads that you simply should do when it comes to machine learning and artificial intelligence by doing this certification.

What are the Important Topics for the Microsoft Azure Certified Fundamentals Exam Preparation?

There are a ton of resources to help with your exam preparation. Microsoft recommends using its online platform, Microsoft Learn, which provides learning paths and modules you can read at your own pace for free.

Azure AI-900 exam but the Microsoft Learn path is the recommended course to prepare the AI-900 exam.

  • Describe AI workloads and considerations (15–20%)
  • Describe fundamental principles of machine learning on Azure (30–35%)
  • Describe features of computer vision workloads on Azure (15–20%)
  • Describe features of Natural Language Processing (NLP) workloads on Azure (15–20%)
  • Describe features of conversational AI workloads on Azure (15–20%)

Microsoft explains what you need to know for each service in the documentation. The explanations include, amongst others, a service overview and quick starts you can experiment to have a better understanding.

You are required to score a minimum of 700 to pass the exam. Anyone scoring less than this mark will be considered as Fail.

All these steps were enough to let me pass the AI-900.
